A Life in Color

A life surrounded by well chosen colors is enriched, heathy, and inspired.   

Adding colors to your home is a great way to bring the best of outside world inside- and nurture and nestle you in the best possible way.  

Start with One...

One new accent color is ideal if you can get it to harmonize well with the existing palette in your space. 

The Pantone color of the year is Ultra Violet- a la the infamous Andy Warhol diva and muse.  

Buy a violet vase, punk purple socks, or silk purple pillow cases and you’ll have decadent dreams. Purple is the color of majesty, royalty, and is an ancient symbol of abundance and luxury.  

My other suggestion for a color injection is teal green. Paint your dining room this rich blue-green and your table will glow like a grotto. If you’d rather be understated- paint your front hall or the headboard wall of your bedroom- and you’ll be transported to Positano.  

Highlight with Fresh Cut Flowers

One or two types of flowers in various places around the home can have a huge effect. Make purple and green your summer palate and your home will be happy.
